About Theresa Marshall

IMG_3134.jpeg

Theresa Marshall is a mom, wife, published author, and entrepreneur whose work is rooted in compassion and a deep awareness of the struggles families face around food. Her passion is in rebuilding connection using food as a bridge to bring people together, restore traditions, and address the growing challenges of food insecurity.

For over 20 years Theresa has been bringing people together at the dinner table in her role as an event planner where she finds joy in the connection fostered at the events she curates (you may have seen some of her events in the images on this website), yet as she she was facilitating some of the most prestigious events her heart was on a different matter. She wanted to see the same joy radiate throughout every community and made it her mission to break down the barriers preventing all families the pleasure of connection and nourishment. While she worked by day as an event planner she also volunteered thousands of hours to level the playing field and help make food and connection accessible to everyone in her community and beyond.

Her heart lies in guiding women through the sacred seasons of pre and postnatal health and supporting families with realistic nutrition plans for infants and children but Theresa’s vision stretches far beyond that. For more than two decades, she has dedicated herself to the non-profit sector, walking alongside pregnant women and families in some of the most marginalized communities.

Her expertise is shaped not only by  her professional role and volunteer experiences but she embarked on formal studies in Holistic Nutrition, Perinatal Mental Health and  Birth and Postpartum Doula work. Theresa adds lived experience and countless conversations with families navigating real barriers to wellness, she truly believes that food holds the power to heal far more than the body. It can reconnect us to one another, to the earth, to God and to ourselves. She encourages parents to invite children into the process, planting seeds, preparing meals, and gathering around the table because these small, everyday acts create lifelong habits of nourishment, resilience, and joy.

Theresa's approach is refreshingly realistic and deeply honest, not preaching the Instagram perfect family on a big budget, but gentle, achievable steps toward nourishment and nurturing in the midst of real life. Wherever you are is where Theresa will meet you and welcome you to the first steps of true connection.
